2026 GMR Annual Meeting & Driving Tour

CAFE PROVENCE

About this event

Please join Green Mountain Region for our 2026 Annual Meeting at 1pm on Saturday, October 3, at Café Provence in Brandon, Vermont.

We will also be hosting an (optional) Poker Run from the Richmond Park and Ride, Exit 11 on I-89. (1610 West Main Street, Richmond, Vermont 05477).

For those unfamiliar with poker runs, don’t worry - it’s simple!

All participants will draw 2 cards in Richmond at the beginning, and then we will make a couple of stops along the way - with participants drawing an additional card at each stop. When we reach Café Provence, we’ll all draw our last card, giving everyone five total cards. From those, everyone will make their best four-card poker hand (discarding one card) and the best hand wins!

This is really just a driving tour with a fun twist - if you haven’t done one before, we’re sure you’ll have fun! And of course we’ll have prizes for the winners to keep it interesting!

You do not need to sign up for the poker run if you want to attend only the Annual Meeting & Luncheon.

Be sure to take a look below for the Annual Meeting agenda and the 2025 Minutes.

  • Meeting was called to order at 10:00am

  • Members introduced themselves and their cars.
  • Al noted that during the course of the year the club lost two particularly active members, Carl Wulfestieg and Ralph DiMasi. A moment of silence was observed for Carl and Ralph DiMasi.
  • Merchandise - GMR caps and garment patches were available for sale. Christian Pratt was commended for his initiative in obtaining the patches.
  • Membership Chair, Brad Kennison, provided an update on GMR membership. Consistent with previous years our numbers fluctuate during the year but the start and ending numbers tend to be close. Brad also asked members to take some of the membership applications to share with potential members.
  • Robert Lierle spoke about his plans for the monthly calendar update. In 2026, the format will be modified to prioritize GMR events over those of other regions.
  • Q&A session - the questions focused on club events, both in the past and future. There was a consensus that the 2025 range of events was a success. A comparable scope of events is planned in 2026.
    • Charlie Delaney reminded everyone of the 2026 PCA Parade that will take place in Lake Placid, NY during the week of June 14 -20. There may be a GMR luncheon during the event if a sufficient number of GMR members are successful at registering for Parade.
